Matteo is an independent Brand Experience & Product Design Lead with more than 7 YOE across EU & US. He focuses on creating digital and physical experiences, design systems and brand identities. He partners with brands, agencies and founders to craft intuitively human experiences that bridge the gap between brand & product.
Over the years, he has worked with teams at Google, Meta, Netflix, YouTube, AKQA, Koto, Pentagram and other global organizations, partnering with people across time zones and cultures to bring bold ideas and ambitious visions to life. In his spare time he runs GESTO, his own matcha brand.
80% designer, 30% troubleshooter and around 60% sure about how to use percentages. Matteo helps brands and products feel more human by working with empathy across disciplines. He collaborates with teams around the world to shape design systems, brand identities, campaigns and digital experiences that connect on a deeper emotional level. Over the years, he worked with a diverse range of clients, from early-stage startups over cultural institutions to global brands. He has no labels or limits. He mixes, acts, creates. He is focused on design in all its forms. He is fluid in thought and creativity, with a great interest in white spaces, accessibility and typography as a political act.
